Journalism

Tom is the travel editor of The Week magazine's UK edition.  For The Week, he has also written on politics, international affairs, books and film.

For The Guardian, he has written about his experience as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse -- click here to read. 

He is a travel writer for publications including Departures in the US, and The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Tatler and House & Garden in the UK.

Copywriting

Tom won a place on D&AD's annual course in copywriting for advertising.

He has written for PR agencies, producing articles for clients in major US and UK newspapers, such as this article for Richard Branson's B Team, which appeared in USA Today, The Guardian and elsewhere – click here to read.

He has also worked as a copywriter for American Express Platinum & Centurion, and has scripted promotional films for Bloomberg Television.




Creative writing

Tom is currently writing a semi-autobiographical novel, set in Brazil and the UK.
